It is the largest ever scholarship program in the history of Pakistan. It is also a major initiative to enhance access to higher education. The government wishes to ensure that no student is deprived of education because of financial need. It is a program of high achievers from low-income family. However, students with special needs as well as those from remote and disadvantaged areas are especially encouraged to apply. How To Apply For The HEC Ehsas Undergraduate Scholarship
Follow the steps to apply for Ehsas Scholarship Program. Apply online at HEC’s portal of the Ehsas Program. Here is the link leading to the website: Be sure to properly fill your forms and submit them at the Financial Aid Office of the respective university. However, applications sent directly to HEC or BISP will remain invalid.
Application Deadline
The deadline for the submission of the application is December 10, annually.
The eligibility criteria for the scholarship programme is:These undergraduate scholarships apply to the public sector and the participating non-profit private sector colleges and universities.Students admitted on merit at any public sector university.Family income should be below the poverty threshold.
The following are the list of the scholarship benefits: 1. 50,000 Scholarships per annum2. 200,0000 undergraduate scholarships in 4 years3. 50% of seats reserved for Girls 4. Full tuition fee5. Monthly Stipend 6. Special Preference to disabled and students belonging to underprivileged areas.
